Increase Situational Awareness, Efficiency and Response Time

The Illustra Body Worn Camera is a rugged camera that expands any video system beyond fixed cameras and provides better situational awareness, helps manage behavior and is essential to complete coverage. Illustra Body Worn Camera is fully integrated with American Dynamics and Exacq video management systems, offering an expansive and seamless experience. Kiosk functionality is available in the video management system as well as a standalone web application. The body worn camera is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and long shifts. It features an intuitive design, streams GPS location data, high quality video and audio over Wi-Fi or cellular connection1 while minimizing bandwidth to as low as 9 Kbps.

  • Body worn camera footage can reside on a server or in the cloud depending on deployment needs
  • Camera can be configured to record always, record on demand or record for a fixed duration upon an event trigger
  • Stream live video and audio via 4G LTE (as low as 9 Kbps) or Wi-Fi* to VMS. (*Feature is region specific)
  • Upon return to cradle, the camera automatically checks-in and offloads video, audio, user information and camera metadata to the VMS recorder
  • Once data is stored in the recorder platform, all functionality of the VMS is available to utilize as if it were any other fixed camera in the system
  • Camera status and configuration are available via the kiosk interface
  • Capture, enhance and share operational data such as stills and video in real-time even when network conditions are poor
  • Real-time alerts by email, SMS, push alert, or direct to the control room
  • Fully auditable Evidence Management System
  • Fully encrypted end-to-end government grade security and backed by the Johnson Controls Cyber Solutions Program
